Esti-Magic
is a Windows application specifically developed to reduce
effort and enhance accuracy in the preparation of estimates
and customer quotations, by manufacturers of injection
moulded parts. It provides a number of features for
automating the computation of costs, including calculation
of shot weights, material, machine, packaging
and labour, which cut the time required to prepare a
quotation whilst reducing the
risks of error. Once the costings have been established
it produces a report as hard copy of the calculations
and a letter for the customer incorporating the quotation.
Quotations are kept on file so that they can be matched
with incoming orders and also used as the basis for
new quotations for similar parts, reducing effort still
further. Esti-Magic
can bring new business by making the most of your competitiveness
and confirming your professionalism. It includes powerful
sales management and analysis tools to measure percentage
success rates for different clients or types of quotation.
It also calculates the time from quotation to order
for the same criteria enabling you to produce more accurate
sales forecasts. All companies involved in injection

Esti-Magic
will run on a stand-alone PC running Windows 3.1 or
later (minimum of 16 MB of memory required), or on a
PC network if multi-user access is required for the
quotations database. It can also run on portable PC
equipment lending itself to use by Field Sales personnel.
Settable parameters in the package can set minimum profit
levels so field sales personnel can give budgetary estimates
of cost on the spot without compromising minimum levels
of profitability.
